The “Magna e Cammina sul Monte Avena” organized by the Pro Loco of Pedavena is a 7 km walk with tastings at the facilities in the area.
When:
Saturday, July 4, 2026 - NIGHTTIME with departure (single group) at 6:00 PM
Sunday, July 5, 2026 with departures at 8:30 AM – 9:15 AM – 10:00 AM and 10:45 AM
Departure from: Piazzale Le Buse on Monte Avena. Attention: The route is not suitable for strollers.
Length: Approximately 7 km
Duration of a single round: About 4 hours
Cost:
- adults: 26 euros until May 31, 31 euros from June 8, 2026
- children aged 8 to 15 years (completed): 21 euros until May 31, 26 euros from June 8, 2026
- children under 7 years: free
What to bring: We recommend bringing a water bottle, hiking shoes/boots, a windproof jacket, sunscreen, anti-mosquito/tick spray, and a sun hat. A headlamp for the nighttime event.
Stages:
- FIRST STAGE: Malga Casere dei Boschi Tasting of cold cuts and mountain cheeses from their own production
- SECOND STAGE: Malga Campon Lasagna with porcini mushrooms, pastin, and Feltrina walnut
- THIRD STAGE: Malga Campet Goulash with polenta or "schiz" with polenta
- FOURTH STAGE: Chalet alle Buse Cake with "schiz" on a base of soft corn cookie and raspberry sauce
Registration Method: Registrations are open until places are filled and in any case no later than Sunday, June 28, 2026.
Each participant, at the time of registration, can choose their preferred departure time until the 50 available spots for each group are filled. For management reasons, the requested time may be subject to changes.
Please remember: to register your family or friends in a single registration for a maximum of 50 people per group.
In case of cancellation of the event due to force majeure, a refund of 90% of the registration fee is provided.
