Walking in the mountains completely changes when a donkey leads the way.
This two-day trek is an invitation to slow down and experience the mountains in a different way: the donkey becomes your travel companion and will guide the pace of the walk.
A slow, guided excursion where you walk alongside the donkeys, through woods, mule tracks, and the landscapes of the Dolomites Bellunesi.
Before setting off, there is a brief moment to get to know the animal and to prepare the donkey for the excursion.
The route develops along ancient mule tracks, paths, and sections through the woods, crossing places that tell the story and landscape of the Dolomites Bellunesi. The overall length of the itinerary can vary roughly from 12 to 16 km, with a maximum elevation change of about 390 meters and a total travel time spread over 2 days. You walk an average of 3 to 5 actual hours a day, at a relaxed pace: the animal often stops to graze or rest, turning the walk into a slow and laid-back experience. Overnight accommodation is planned in an unusual setting or in a bivouac, to experience the mountains even in their quietest and most authentic moments.
The itineraries are designed to adapt to different levels of experience, making the activity of medium/easy difficulty and suitable even for those approaching mountain trekking for the first time and for families with children.
A simple and authentic way to take a break from fast-paced rhythms, connect with the animal, and discover the territory with a slower, more attentive gaze.
