Una Montagna di Libri - Summer 2026

For over fifteen years, A Mountain of Books has transformed Cortina d'Ampezzo into one of the most prestigious cultural salons in the Alps.

From July 11 to September 2026, the 34th edition of the festival will bring writers, journalists, philosophers, artists, and key figures of contemporary thought to the heart of the Dolomites, offering the audience a journey through literature, current affairs, history, and the great themes of our time.

With dozens of meetings spread throughout the summer, each appointment becomes an opportunity to engage in dialogue with Italian and international authors, explore new perspectives, and experience culture in a direct and engaging way.

Enhancing the program is the ceremony of the Cortina d'Ampezzo Award, dedicated to the works that best depict our time, along with presentations, dialogues, and moments of exchange that make each meeting a unique experience.

More than a literary festival, A Mountain of Books is a meeting place where words intertwine with the extraordinary beauty of the Dolomites, giving life to a summer of emotions, inspiration, and sharing.
