Trofeo 16 Comuni dell'Agordino

The 16 Municipalities Trophy of Agordino is a sports event featuring a relay race that, on an annual rotation, is hosted by one of the 16 Municipalities of the Agordina Mountain Union.

6 categories (3 male and 3 female) will compete on 3 routes that wind through the streets of the village and along the valley paths. Each team can consist of three athletes and each municipality can present an unlimited number of teams for different categories. Below are the lengths of the routes: 3,400 meters for the Senior Male category; about 2,200 meters for the Senior Female category; about 800 meters for the Under 10 category.

Registrations are collected by the municipality of residence. Refreshments will be provided along the route, and at the end of the event, Piazza Salvatore Serafini will host a marquee with live music and a lunch option for athletes and non-athletes, concluding with the awards for the top three teams in each category, the best male/female fractionist, and other prizes by lottery (for the team).

The Agordino Champion Municipality Trophy will be awarded to the Municipality that has accumulated the most points by summing those earned in the 6 categories multiplied by the annual coefficient that relates the population of the individual Municipality to that of the most populous Municipality.
