Tre variazioni della vita

On Sunday, December 20 at 8:45 p.m., the show "Three Variations on Life" will take place as part of the 50th Prose Season at the Teatro Comunale Dino Buzzati.

An evening among friends… or maybe not. Astrophysicist Henri and his wife Sonia, a successful financial lawyer, open the doors of their elegant Parisian home for an aperitif with Professor Hubert Finidori and his wife Inès. But what seems like a quiet social evening soon takes an unexpected turn. Henri is working on an article about dark matter and is counting on the support of his friend Hubert to complete it. Hubert reveals that another researcher is about to publish on the same topic, triggering Henri's frustration. And as the persistent cries of their child echo between courses, the masks of good manners begin to fall. Old grudges, repressed tensions, and unspoken truths emerge forcefully, turning the evening into an emotional battleground.
