Swiss Sounds in Cortina: il ritmo delle Alpi accende Casa Svizzera

In the vibrant atmosphere of the Winter Games, Cortina d'Ampezzo also becomes a stage for the meeting of alpine cultures. On March 13 and 14, 2026, Swiss Sounds in Cortina brings some of the most interesting musical talents from the contemporary Swiss scene to the stage of the House of Switzerland Italia 2026.

The House of Switzerland – the official space dedicated to hospitality and Swiss culture during the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Paralympics – welcomes visitors from around the world with events, music and moments of sharing that celebrate the alpine spirit and collaboration between Switzerland and Italy. Admission is free and open to all.

The stars of these two days will be Make Plain, an energetic two-man band from Ticino. Since 2012, the duo has been traveling across Europe with their Power Folk, an overwhelming blend of folk, blues and rock'n'roll brought to life with guitars, drums, blues harp, piano, synth bass and powerful vocals. With over 600 international concerts, tours in Germany and stops in Spain, Colombia, and Mexico, their live performance is an intense and authentic experience.

In Cortina, their music becomes the symbol of a modern, dynamic, and multilingual Switzerland: a sonic journey that traverses the four linguistic regions of the country and celebrates the cultural richness of the Alps.
