Mostra itinerante #SCIVOLARE TRA LE IMMAGINI

The exhibition #SLIDING THROUGH IMAGES. Skis, skates, and sleds through photographs and historical postcards from the province of Belluno moves to Feltre at the prestigious location of the former Monte di Pietà over the two weekends of May 16-17 and 23-24.
An exhibition that takes visitors on a journey through the province of Belluno with 83 historical images from public and private collections, taken between 1905 and the 1980s, in a project to recover the memory of local traditions related to transportation and leisure, culminating in the evolution of equipment as elements of sports practices that became Olympic disciplines (sliding, skeleton, bobsled, skating, skiing…).
The exhibition, curated by the Belluno Culture and Press Circle and hosted in Feltre thanks to collaboration with the Municipality and the Association Il Fondaco, is part of the Project #SLIDING. Stories of trails, between tradition and competition funded by the 2026 Olympics Call of the Cariverona Foundation, led by the Province of Belluno along with numerous public and private partners from the Belluno territory.
The traveling exhibition tells the story of Belluno winters through reproductions of images from photographic archives and public and private collections in the province of Belluno and will be hosted in various locations scattered throughout the province until the end of August.
The exhibition is free to visit during the two weekends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
