Maschere e riti tra Dolomiti e Sardegna

Inserted among the collateral events of the exhibition Belluno City of Wood, on Saturday, November 14 at 5:00 p.m. there will be "Masks and Rites between the Dolomites and Sardinia", a talk with anthropologist Cesare Poppi and the mask makers Matteo Crepaz, Matteo Dagai, Andrea Darman, and Nicola Dessolis. Moderator Antonio Gheno, coordinator of the M.A.D. Network.

The mask makers will tell the public their story and the birth of their passion for the art of mask making, and there will be a dialogue about the connection/similarities between Sardinian ritual masks and archaic Dolomite masks.
