On Wednesday, January 13 at 8:45 p.m. the show "Mother Forever" will take place, part of the 50th Season of Prose at the Teatro Comunale Dino Buzzati.
Mother Forever (original title Touching the Sea) is an intense and delicate theatrical text that originally explores the meaning of motherhood and the building of family ties. Through the encounter between two very different women — one nearing retirement and the other immersed in the world of audiovisual production — the work stages both women’s desire to fill a void, creating a “chosen” family capable of transcending biological and social boundaries. With irony, tenderness, and great humanity, Barceló reflects on what it truly means to become a mother and on how love, more than blood, can create a bond destined to last forever.
