Lights in the Night – When Silence Illuminates the Heart Subtitle (EN)

On the evenings of August 6, 13, and 20, 2026, the Basilica of Saints Philip and James opens its doors to Lights in the Night, an intense journey of spirituality and contemplation in the heart of Cortina. Guardian of the Ampezzana faith and a symbol of the community, the Basilica offers a place of extraordinary beauty where silence becomes encounter and light invites hope.

Between eucharistic adoration, music, listening to the Gospel, prayer, and moments of reflection, each evening is an invitation to slow down, rediscover oneself, and allow oneself to be reached by a Word that comforts and renews. The notes of the music will accompany an experience capable of speaking to the hearts of believers, pilgrims, and anyone in search of inner peace.

Guiding us are the words of Jesus: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Mt 11:28). A timeless message that becomes a concrete experience of welcome, peace, and refreshment.
