On Friday, April 10, The Innamorate will take place, a performance of the 3rd Theater Season of the Piccolo Teatro G. Pierobon in Paiane.

Set in the Goldonian era, “The Innamorate” is a comedy that weaves romantic intrigues and plot twists.

Cecilia, an orphaned noblewoman and opera singer, is in financial trouble and must marry to unlock her dowry. With the help of her maid Lucietta, she convinces a ship captain, already in love with Rosina, to engage in a marriage of convenience. However, Cecilia truly falls in love with the captain, unleashing comedic situations. With witty dialogue and a captivating plot, this comedy is a tribute to Goldoni’s genius and the vibrancy of classical theater.
