Lagazuoi Winning Ideas Mountain Awards – WIMA 2026

The seventh edition of the Lagazuoi Winning Ideas Mountain Awards (WIMA) is back, the competition promoted by Lagazuoi EXPO Dolomiti that rewards the most innovative, sustainable, and inclusive projects dedicated to the world of mountains.

The call for entries is open until April 30, 2026 and is aimed at companies, start-ups, public entities, associations, and third-sector organizations engaged in developing solutions that combine technology, environmental respect, and social value in mountain areas.

Three categories in the competition:
• Mountain equipment and clothing
• Projects and services for the mountains
• Mountain food and agricultural productions (from municipalities above 600 m)

Particular attention will be given to sustainability and inclusivity, with special mentions dedicated to the most virtuous projects.
The selected projects will be featured in an exhibition inaugurated on June 6, 2026 at the Lagazuoi EXPO Dolomiti, at an altitude of 2,732 meters, in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, between Cortina d’Ampezzo and Alta Badia. The exhibition will remain open until March 2027, providing international visibility to the best ideas looking towards the future of mountain regions.
