Three evenings to talk about health, memory, and society

After the summer break, the event “The Fridays of Culture” returns to Fonzaso, with three unmissable moments of meeting, reflection, and discussion on some of the most delicate themes of contemporary society.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4“Body, identity, and fragility: eating disorders between literature and prevention” Cristina Lora presents “I want to feel the snow”, an autobiographical novel dedicated to the experience of eating disorders and the journey towards awareness and healing.
The evening will continue with the intervention of theMargherita Fenice Association of Belluno, to further deepen the prevention, awareness, and local reality of eating behavioral disorders.

Luigi Rosin presents “The Tear”A family story that becomes a starting point for reflecting on the crisis of values in contemporary society, individualism, and the predominance of materialism, but also on the importance of rediscovering solidarity, responsibility, and human relationships in couple life and beyond.

 FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18
Memory, care, and relationship. Literature and prevention beyond cognitive declineFabio Marin presents “Don't forget me. Let's talk you and I, mom”, an intense testimony about the relationship between a son and a mother affected by senile dementia. Both Annalisa Basso, President of the Feltrina Company for Person Services, and Roberta Padoan, neurologist of AULSS 1 Dolomiti, will speak about cognitive decline, Alzheimer’s, early diagnosis, and support for families. The evening will be enriched by the screening of the short film “Don't forget me”, created by the author in collaboration with Giuseppe Petruzzellis and Aplysia.
