Glasses among the clouds

On Saturday, September 12, Rifugio Averau hosts the first edition of “Glasses Among the Clouds”, an exclusive experience dedicated to the wines of the Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT denomination. The event will take place in the spectacular setting of Forcella Nuvolau, at an altitude of 2,413 meters, in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites.

For the occasion, the panoramic terrace of the refuge will transform into an elegant high-altitude lounge where guests can taste a selection of labels from the refuge's cellar. A sensory journey across two regions, three provinces, and various winemaking methods, led by the professional sommeliers from the AIS Belluno delegation, who will guide the audience in discovering the characteristics and identity of these wines.

The experience will be enhanced by dedicated finger food and the opportunity to enjoy the traditional Dolomite Dish at the refuge's restaurant. All participants will also receive an exclusive silk-screened glass as a memento of the day.

The journey to reach Rifugio Averau will also be part of the experience: thanks to the Fedare chairlift, it will be possible to comfortably ascend to the entrance of the structure and enjoy a day suspended between sky and mountains.
