Fires of Ferragosto

On August 14th, the Socrepes Refuge becomes the beating heart of the Ferragosto eve.

Starting at 7:00 p.m., amidst the mountains of Cortina, an evening comes to life that combines the charm of tradition with the rhythm of the night: food, drinks, DJ set, and the great Madonna Bonfire, one of the most evocative rituals of the Ampezzo summer.

As the sun sets behind the Dolomites and the valley dresses in evening attire, the fire becomes the protagonist. A flame that tells an ancient tradition and that, at Socrepes, meets a contemporary atmosphere, filled with music, energy, and conviviality.

There is eating, toasting, and dancing. Then comes the moment when the sky darkens and the Madonna Bonfire illuminates the night.
