FERRAGOSTO, WITH A DOLOMITE VIEW

Ferragosto in the mountains has its own rhythm. On our terrace, with the Cinque Torri in front of our eyes and live music as the soundtrack, lunch becomes an experience to be savored without haste.

We begin with a welcome aperitif featuring cold cuts, mountain cheeses, fruit mustards, and zucchini flowers. Then the journey continues with Melotti rice with porcini mushrooms and summer black truffle, the iconic Penne alla Vodka “Back to the ’80s” — a dish that has become a gastronomic symbol of that decade — and a generous grilled meat platter, accompanied by the soft polenta from Storo.

To close the meal, we have all the sweetness of the Ampezzo tradition: apple strudel with vanilla sauce.

And while the live music accompanies the day, the sparkling drinks offered toast to summer, to togetherness, and to the beauty of the Dolomites.
