Cortina Open
CortinaThe most inclusive event in the Dolomites where the theme of accessibility in the UNESCO Dolomites is celebrated
Discover moreCortina Marketing, in collaboration with the Union de i Ladins de Anpezo (ULDA), is organizing a cycle of free guided tours in August, dedicated to the discovery of the authentic soul of Cortina, its intrinsic values, and its rich cultural heritage.
When:
Saturday, August 2
Saturday, August 9
Saturday, August 16
Saturday, August 23
The tours, conducted in Italian, English, and German, will offer a vivid and engaging narrative of the community rules that have marked local life for centuries. The typical architecture that embellishes the village will be explored, as well as the rituals and traditional customs that still characterize the daily life of the Ampezzans.
As part of the "Cortina Guest" activity program, these guided tours aim to showcase not only the natural beauty of Cortina but also its deeper soul. Ladin culture represents a distinctive wealth that we wish to share with our visitors, to offer an authentic and unforgettable experience and to pass on a heritage that is not confined to history books, but lives vibrantly in the streets, faces, and stories that animate Cortina.
The path will wind from the Comun Vecio, continuing towards Ciasa de Ra Regoles, the Basilica of Saints Philip and James and its bell tower, the Ciasa dei Pupe, and will conclude at the Ethnographic Museum of the Regole d’Ampezzo.
