On July 12 and 13, the 1st San Gualberto Festival will take place: conference, concert, markets, walking event, and much more await you in Nevegal!

The program:

SATURDAY, JULY 12: CULTURAL DAY at the Sanctuary of Mary Immaculate
at 4:30 PM conference with Prof. Trabucco and Prof. Mora on Saint Giovanni Gualberto.
at 8:30 PM concert by the Castion Choir directed by Don Marco.
Both events are free access.

SUNDAY, JULY 13 at the Nevegal Square
from 8:00 AM: markets and exhibition of historic cars organized by the Berto Gidoni Club.
at 10:30 AM non-competitive walk of 7.5 km starting from the Chapel of San Gualberto.
Registrations on site: adults €10 - children (<12 years) €5. Gift: discount voucher for lunch!

The presentation, preceded by a guided tour of the Fulcis Museum conducted by the Director Carlo Cavalli, will illustrate the conservation journey of the work *Tobias and the Angel Raphael* by Titian at the Madonna dell'Orto in Venice, highlighting the main challenges faced and the results achieved following the restoration.Particular attention will be given to the diagnostic investigations, with a focus on the changes found in the underlying drawing beneath the paint layer and their implications for the historical-artistic interpretation of the painting, its iconography, and its devotional functions.
