Dino Buzzati: feeling carried by the wind

On the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the birth of Dino Buzzati, the Civic Library of Belluno in collaboration with the Ricci Museum, the Dino Buzzati Foundation of Milan, and other local entities is organizing the cultural event "Dino Buzzati: Feeling Carried by the Wind".

The program spans between September and October and includes two exhibitions, one documentary and one display, at Palazzo Crepadona and Palazzo Fulcis, conferences with scholars and experts, readings, creative workshops for children, and a performance at the Dino Buzzati Municipal Theatre.

PRAISE OF BREAD
"Give us back the bread!": that is how Dino Buzzati thundered from the columns of the "Corriere d'informazione" in 1957 (in an article now reprinted by the publisher Henry Beyle) recording the decline of genuine bread in favor of modern sophisticated alterations and disguises. Bread, a product that seems humble and daily, tells a story - as we will discover in this meeting - of our cultural evolution much more than we imagine.
