Conduct a public assembly with a log of wood

An open meeting for the community of Lorenzago, during which each participant is invited to use a piece of wood to contribute to the discussion according to the methods developed by Chiara Porzio, a recent graduate from NABA (New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan) and a participant in the artistic research program Removed Content 2025/2026.

The meeting is open to anyone who wishes to participate, either by speaking or simply listening.

At the heart of the discussion is the future of the Giardino del Quadrato: what purpose and role could this public space take on for the community?

Through simple rules and shared gestures, Porzio's proposal gives the wood, an important resource for the area, a new practical and symbolic function, intertwining civic participation, dialogue, and performative action.

The assembly aims to initiate a collective reflection on the possible transformations of the Giardino del Quadrato, the only green space in the neighborhood, which was created from the demolition of one of the buildings in the urban grid in the 1950s.

In case of bad weather, activities will take place in the Municipality of Lorenzago di Cadore.
