On Saturday, October 10 at Mel, there will be a concert of Canto Popolare, set within the framework of Mele a Mel, an initiative that combines culture, tradition, and gastronomy. Opening the evening will be the Corale Zumellese, directed by M. Manolo Da Rold, recognized for its interpretative sensitivity and constant research in the polyphonic and folk repertoire.
The special guest of the event will be the Coro Bachis Sulis from Aritzo (Nuoro), conducted by M. Michele Turnu. The Sardinian ensemble will present a rich and multifaceted program: alongside the folk and liturgical songs of the Barbagia tradition, characterized by archaic harmonies and evocative sounds, the choir will indeed offer a varied repertoire with different musical forms and languages.
The event will represent a unique opportunity to experience a journey in music, where the choral identity of Veneto meets the versatility and overwhelming energy of the Sardinian culture.
