LIKE QUAIL ON A PLATTER - Theater Show On November 25th is the international day dedicated to combating violence against women. As this date approaches, the municipal library of Cesiomaggiore presents the show “Like quail on a platter.

 The Merlin Law: a story of women and freedom.” Directed by the director Lara Rossa, the project of the Las Palabras theater group in collaboration with the Pro Loco Santagiustinese, is born with a clear objective: to bring to light one of the most important battles for women's rights in the history of the Italian Republic, led by Senator Lina Merlin between 1948 and 1958.

After a flattering debut in Santa Giustina last April and a tour that saw the actresses of Las Palabras take the stage at various theaters, including the fully booked Comunale of Belluno, on Saturday, November 7th the show arrives in Cesiomaggiore

. It is a story that is still very relevant; telling it today means remembering where we come from and understanding what of that journey is still present in our daily lives. A message particularly directed at the new generations, so they can recognize the value of acquired rights and the necessity to continue defending them

. Because the journey towards gender equality is not over: alongside the achievements made, there remain open issues and challenges yet to be faced
