From October 6 to 31, 2026, “Chies and its mountains” returns, the festival now in its 25th edition that celebrates the passion for the mountains, nature, and exploration.
During the month of October, Chies d’Alpago and its fractions will host a series of events dedicated to mountain and adventure lovers, featuring testimonies of great mountaineering feats, screenings, book presentations, cultural meetings, and excursions.
The program ranges from the discovery of the great carnivores of the Italian mountains to travel stories at the foot of Everest, from the thrills of paragliding over the Dolomites to the adventures of the Mongol Rally and trekking in Peru.
Among the guests is climber Kristin Harila, the protagonist of the meeting on October 24 dedicated to her extraordinary feat on the 14 eight-thousanders.
The festival will conclude on Saturday, October 31, with the event “The mountain marvel of creation,” featuring an excursion, a celebration on Crep Nudo, and moments of conviviality.
