The village of Sottoguda, certified in 2016 as one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, is a treasure at the foot of the Queen of the Dolomites, the Marmolada, nestled between the rocky walls of the famous Serrai di Sottoguda and the wonderful bosch di faièr, a beautiful beech forest among the tallest in Europe, which reaches its peak splendor in autumn.
On October 31, the Sottoguda Village Association organizes a chestnut festival starting at 3:00 p.m., right in the heart of the village, in the small square in front of the church.
Chestnuts, potatoes, cheese, salami, and sweets will accompany an afternoon of joy.
For the little ones, there will be workshop activities to create a ghost-shaped lantern.
Bring a jar with you and give it new life! If possible, bring a clean glass jar to reuse.
A small gesture for the environment! ;)
