STORYTELLERS (rehearsals of .. ) is the title of our project born on a late spring day in 2025. Strumming a battered and slightly out-of-tune guitar, and spewing words like a rushing mountain stream, we fantasized about .. SILENCE WAR CHANGE and FREEDOM.. discussing values and meanings ..
Thus Cantastorie began and thus we will bring it to the stage, “In Rehearsal,” as the subtitle says. Singing Dylan and De Gregori, Capossela, John Lennon and Gaber, De Andrè and Guccini, accompanied by the words of prominent writers and adding our color, our spices, we have shaped a show that is not a concert nor a theatrical performance .. it is simply our own .. Storytellers (rehearsals of ..).
Together with the audience, we will embark on an INTIMATE JOURNEY, silent, battered and out of tune, and at times a bit melancholic, unfolding between readings and folk songs, played and sung together with you. Storytellers (rehearsals of ..) is a Pop show, for everyone and by everyone, .. all together because as Giorgio Gaber said: "FREEDOM IS PARTICIPATION"
