"Brusa la Vecia" is a traditional event that takes place in the middle of Lent. Following the reading of the "Testament of the Vecia," the spectacular "bonfire" of the same figure ensues, evoking an ancient custom from popular tradition. It is indeed a true "rite of passage" from the old to the new, from the bad season to the good season, which carries with it the wish to ward off evil and to encourage good.
Music, Mulled Wine, sweets, and fun for everyone surround the traditional bonfire.
