Alverà Country Festival

Cortina’s summer dons tradition with one of the most awaited events of the year. On Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9, the Alverà Country Festival returns to enliven the summer with two days dedicated to conviviality, authentic flavors, and fun for all ages.

The absolute star will be the cuisine of the Ampezzana tradition, with many gastronomic specialties prepared on the spot. Unmissable are the famous Fartaies, the typical sweet fritters of the Ladin tradition, to be savored during the hours 12:00-3:00 p.m. and 7:00-10:00 p.m., along with many other offerings that showcase the most authentic mountain flavors. Accompanying everything will be a stand with fresh beer and a festive atmosphere that engages both residents and visitors.

Music will be the common thread throughout the entire weekend: from the great hits of the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s Darsena Party, to dance and have fun until evening in a climate of joy and sharing.

The festival will take place all day on Saturday, August 8 and until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, offering two days dedicated to tradition, friendship, and hospitality that have always characterized Cortina d'Ampezzo.
