Lake Alleghe, with the imposing north face of Civetta in the background, is one of the most well-known and popular destinations in the Agordino region in all seasons.
In spring, with herons flying over. In the clear days of summer, when water and sky seem to blur together.
In autumn, with the thousand colours of the forest reflected in the lake. In winter, when the lake turns into an icy sheet.
Explore it in a kayak, row boat or pedal boat. Try taking a walk around the lake, scenic and suitable for all. Spend time fishing or take advantage of the calm and beauty of the place to treat yourself to a moment of complete relaxation.
- Not far from the lake, the gondola lift leaves for Piani di Pezzè, where you can have fun with the whole family at Civetta Adventure Park
- Try the simple hike suitable for everyone to the Ru de Rialt waterfall. Perfect for cooling down on hot summer days
- The lake was formed in January 1771 when a large landslide broke off from Monte Spiz, stopping the course of the Cordevole stream. In just thirty days, the lake reached a height of 90 metres, submerging the villages at the bottom of the valley.
