Historical notes
Our company begins its journey in 1925, when Ugo Sbizzera, a young man with a passion for engines, decides that it is time for his country to have a passenger transport service. With some money and a lot of courage, he starts a rental service for vehicles in the municipality of Alano Di Piave in the province of Belluno. In the 1930s, he decided to add a line service with two coaches (one SPA and one Fiat 18p) to bring people to the markets.
It was during that time that the Alano-Valdobbiadene, Alano-Montebelluna, and Alano-Feltre lines were born. Daily, the line service also connected the Alano-Fener station with the municipality of Alano di Piave (including its fractions) in conjunction with the trains.
In 1932, he purchased a Fiat 507 for line service and one for tourism. During World War II, the line service was suspended, while the vehicle rental service remained operational. In 1947, Ugo's son, Ruggero Sbizzera, took over the company. With the support of a clever and energetic wife, he began to grow the company over the years, buying a Fiat 626 Orlandi in 1960, a Fiat Tigrotto in 1965, and a Fiat 642 Orlandi in 1970; all vehicles used for public transport and school services, as well as for group tourism.
From 1970 to 1988, the Sbizzera company consolidated and a Fiat 308 Barbi, a Fiat 343 Barbi, and a Fiat 314 Padane were purchased.
In 1988, Adriano, Ruggero's son, brought the third generation of the Sbizzera family to lead the company. Adriano immediately began preparing the company for the new millennium, computerizing it, strictly applying all safety regulations, fire prevention in the workplace, and prioritizing all aspects that contribute to increasing the quality of the service offered to customers.
