The Pordoi Pass is a mountain pass in the Dolomites located at an altitude of 2,239 m a.s.l. and situated between the Sella Group to the north and the Marmolada group to the south. It connects Arabba, a fraction of the Municipality of Livinallongo del Col di Lana in the Cordevole Valley in the province of Belluno, with Canazei, a municipality in the Fassa Valley in the province of Trento. The Pordoi Pass is also part of the Great Dolomites Road. It has a strong appeal both during the summer and winter seasons. In the summer, it is sought after by road bike enthusiasts; it is legendary for the many climbs during the Giro d'Italia and is also known as Cima Coppi, with a monument dedicated to Cima at the Pass, as well as for trekking with many trails in the Sella Group or on the Porta Vescovo side, and for mountain biking.
In the winter, the Pordoi Pass is also a starting point for embarking on the most famous ski tours, such as the Sellaronda, the Marmolada Glacier, or the Great War Tour.
