You won’t be able to miss it! Among the streets of Gera, a small village nestled between the streams Padola and Digon, you will easily notice a house that stands out from all the others with its modern design: it is Casa Vettori, a low structure typically bourgeois from the 18th century, which belonged to a wealthy family that was engaged in the blacksmith trade for many years.
The palace today
The facade is characterized by simple and linear shapes interrupted only by the openings of the 3 floors. The palace, which is not open to visitors as it is still owned by the family and used as a summer residence, retains valuable decorations inside, especially in the rooms, made up of leaves and Ionic scrolls. However, you can observe the particular contours of the building, which encompass a large vegetable garden, a small church, and an ancient barn.
The church, built in 1704-06, hides a precious collection of relics and houses the body of St. Giulia the martyr, given by Cardinal Costantino Patrizi to Cecilia Colossis in Vettori.
