The facility offers two cozy accommodations, each with a private loggia, a large bathroom with a shower, a kitchenette, and a wonderful view of the Feltrino valley.
The spaces, made with natural materials, are environmentally friendly thanks to sustainable choices: solar energy, biomass boiler, heat pump, rainwater recovery, and reduction of all forms of waste. The facility also has private parking for its guests and a charging station for electric vehicles.
La Casa di Maia is recognized by the CETS - European Charter for Sustainable Tourism, a certification promoted by the National Park of the Belluno Dolomites.
The hospitality includes an overnight stay and breakfast, prepared by the owner with homemade products that pair well with the monofloral honeys produced by the company itself.
In addition to hospitality, La Casa di Maia is also a recognized educational farm by the Veneto Region. Here, it is possible to participate in activities with bees and the processing of their honey in the extraction laboratory, as well as visit a museum dedicated to the life of these extraordinary insects. The journey, original and unconventional, is enriched by artistic murals and an immersive and experiential room that allows one to personally experience the magic of being inside a hive.
Moreover, it is possible to explore the garden of flowering plants and participate in guided tastings to learn about the fine monofloral and polyfloral honeys that La Casa di Maia produces through "nomadic beekeeping," bringing the bees to pristine locations within the Belluno area and the Venetian lagoon.
