A morning among trails and breathtaking views of Val di Gares dedicated to discovering orientation in the mountain environment. Accompanied by the guides of La Refa, we will learn to read a map, use a compass, interpret the terrain, and plan a route through practical activities, games, and field exercises.
An engaging experience suitable for everyone, designed to acquire skills to live in the mountains with greater awareness, autonomy, and safety.
For the occasion, LAREFA will provide some compasses, maps, and stopwatches, space-time matrix tiles, which will be used during technical explanations and practical tests, along with tips and anecdotes, while we discover our way around the enchanting woods of the glacial circle at the head of Val di Gares.
In case of severe bad weather, the outing may be canceled.
