Excursion and/or trekking in the name of slow and sustainable tourism, in harmony with nature, psychological and physical well-being, accompanied by a donkey. An authentic experience that will lead you to discover and learn about the places traversed, experiencing them from a different point of view. It is not seasonal and can be practiced in summer as well as in winter; naturally, the ideal seasons remain spring and autumn.
The slow pace of your traveling companion, the keen observation of what surrounds us, and learning the right empathy with the animal are the qualities of this experience in the extraordinary scenery of the "Val del Biois" and "Val de Garés", in the Belluno Dolomites.
The path winds along ancient mule tracks, in the forest and in the most interesting historical places of the valley.
The guides are Mayra and Pascal, "certified trekking donkey guides".
Participants will be able to engage in several activities: cleaning the donkeys, saddling, preparing the equipment for the excursion or trekking, thus benefiting from immediate close contact with the animal and the slow rhythms of the offered experience.
Three experience proposals designed for you:
- HALF-DAY EXCURSION - excursion proposal adjustable according to your needs, with the option of having an aperitif (optional and for an extra cost)
- FULL DAY EXCURSION with PICNIC - excursion proposal adjustable according to your needs, with the possibility of an aperitif and a picnic organized by Mayra and Pascal upon request (optional and for an extra cost)
- TREKKING, 2 DAYS - 1 NIGHT - 2 unforgettable days in the heart of nature and spend a night among the trees! Experience a unique “away from everything” moment in the heart of a wild and preserved nature. Imagine this feeling of freedom, magnificent landscapes, the starry sky, the singing of birds... total disconnection. Mayra and Pascal will arrange everything needed for a pleasant night in a tent, under the stars, in shelters or at Maso Autin.
