In the depths of one of the most evocative valleys of the Belluno Dolomites, surrounded by Agner peak, Pale di San Martino and Pale di San Lucano peaks, an exciting canyoning route has recently been set up.
The experience begins at an altitude of 1,200 metres at the old black marble quarries dating back to the early 1900s, along zip lines, rappels and slides until reaching the base of the Pont waterfall. After the last few slides and a few rappels surrounded by breathtaking views, the route ends with an ascent along the trail that takes participants back to the starting point at Pont.
Meet at 2 p.m. at the car park above Col di Prà in Taibon Agordino, where you leave your car and wait for the van with guides who will take you to the starting point of the activity in 10 minutes. The activity will last about 2 hours along a fun trail that winds its way for about 800 metres; you will be in water for about 1.5 hours at most, up to your waist, so it is not essential to know how to swim, you just need to not be afraid of the waterfall. At the end of the experience, you return to the starting point with a walk of about 15 minutes on a path.
Please note: there are some rare obstacles that may prevent you from canyoning. If you are aware that you are suffering from a medical condition or are pregnant or under the influence of psychotropic substances, you must immediately inform the company representative or guide/accompanying person so that they can assess the need to request a medical certificate or possibly exclude you from the activity.
