What we present is an intense musical and literary journey that traverses the history of the Great War, telling the emotional and experiential aspects of the people who were its protagonists. The show features a collection of songs that are also stories, the result of extensive research, alternating with various readings related to the topic, including its most intimate aspect, and includes writings from some of the greatest and most well-known authors of the 20th century such as Ungaretti, Lussu, Stuparich, Monelli. A meticulous search for historical images accompanies the entire narrative. We tell the story of the First World War because we believe in the value of memory and because today more than ever it is important to emphasize how in every place and at all times war is synonymous with pain, destruction, and death.
