The Mont de Vie Association, active in the Zoldo area with events and initiatives of an artistic and cultural nature, proposes two appointments for the month of March, the first being musical and the second cinematic at the Cinema di Dont.

On the occasion of International Women's Day, the central theme of the performances will be women. The role of the female figure will be multifaceted, recounting its troubled past and the battles of the present, with an ironic, yet sharp and sincere perspective.

The Coro delle Cicale studies and brings to the stage a cultural heritage of extraordinary beauty belonging to the feminine expressiveness of popular culture: the themes of labor, toil, celebration, love, and religious ritual are the tools through which women have communicated and manifested their vision of the world.

Giuseppina Casarin, a well-known researcher and singer of Italian oral tradition, was appointed in 2024 by President Sergio Mattarella as Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, for promoting dialogue between cultures and fostering social inclusion through song, with the creation of the Voci dal Mondo Choir of Mestre.
