Lo strappo

“The tear.” In Fonzaso, the presentation of the novel by Luigi Rosin.
An engaging and intriguing story that invites the reader to rediscover the value of affection and human relationships.

The meeting represents an important opportunity for cultural deepening and dialogue with a work that addresses themes of pressing relevance, placing at the center of the narrative the deep and sudden transformations that sweep through contemporary society and the consequences they produce on human relationships.

The volume tells the story of the Tagliaferri family, a symbol of an apparently prosperous economic situation. Cesare, the father, embodies an authority exercised without empathy or respect, while Anita, the wife, seems to take refuge in an existence marked by consumerism and the constant pursuit of appearance.
The children, Marco and Giulia, grow up in an environment where dialogue is virtually non-existent and affections are progressively suffocated by a vision of life dominated by pure possession and individual interest.
The narrative turning point coincides with Giulia's decision to break the silence and definitively escape from a complex and unsustainable family situation.
Her flight with her friend Lorenzo represents the inevitable turning point from which the entire story takes shape: that "tear" that gives the title to the novel and assumes a significance both personal and symbolic.
From that specific moment, every character is forced to confront their own conscience, the responsibilities accumulated over time, and the consequences of their choices.
The narrative proceeds by alternating moments of strong emotional intensity with reflections that directly engage the reader, who is repeatedly called to question the intrinsic meaning of human relationships, as well as the value of individual responsibility.

The work sharply denounces a society in which the worship of money has inevitably replaced the ethical and moral values that have historically guided human coexistence.

The event will offer the public the opportunity to get to know the author closely, deepen the content of the volume, and engage in discussions on the central themes of the novel: the crisis of the family, the constant weakening of human relationships, the affirmation and predominance of individualism, and the gradual loss of the values that for a long time represented the foundation of civil coexistence.
