Discover moreOn the occasion of the European Heritage Days, on Sunday September 27, 2026 at 3:30 p.m., at the Sala Placido Fabris in Pieve d’Alpago, there will be a meeting “The Situla of Pieve d’Alpago – A Dialogue between History and Community”.
At the center of the event will be the conference “The Situla of Pieve d’Alpago: Genesis of a Masterpiece Rediscovered through Experimental Archaeology”, curated by Stefano Buson. An opportunity to get to know one of the most significant artifacts related to the history and archaeological heritage of the area more closely, exploring its creation and rediscovery through techniques of experimental archaeology.
The meeting will also be an occasion for the finissage of the temporary exhibition dedicated to the Situla, concluding a journey that has put archaeology, local history, and community into dialogue.
