As part of the event program organized by "The Paths of the Soul" and "Malga Van", on Sunday, July 5 a hike is planned on the peaks of the Belluno Pre-Alps with environmental guides Ester Andrich and Paolo Tormen, in discovery of medicinal herbs and the ancient stories that inhabit the ridges above Valmorel.
The meeting point is set for 8:45 a.m. at Pian del Vescovo, where parking is available.
The itinerary will develop along the scenic Troi dei Cavai, passing through Casere Frascon and Malga Cor, crossing woods, pastures, and ancient mountain sites.
The duration is about 4.5 hours, with a positive elevation gain of 450 meters. The excursion will conclude at Malga Van, where those interested can stop to taste genuine dishes prepared with local products.
Adequate clothing is recommended: trekking boots, a jacket, and trekking poles.
