I Taccuini di Amelia B.Edwards

Included in the review Beyond the Peaks, from September 26 to October 14, the artistic-documentary exhibition "The Notebooks of Amelia B. Edwards", curated by Alan Boyle and Eleonora Pescosta, will take place at Palazzo Crepadona, focusing on the explorer who inspired this thirtieth edition of the review: Untrodden peaks and unfrequented valleys – In the footsteps of Amelia B. Edwards explorer in the Dolomites of 1872. 

The exhibition unfolds in dialogue with the recently published book With Pen and Brush by Alan Boyle and Eleonora Pescosta (edLeannta 2026), the result of research that has allowed the rediscovery of seventy watercolors depicting the Dolomites created by Amelia B. Edwards during her journey in 1872.

From the panels of the exhibition emerges a deep connection between word and color, in a narrative where the brush completes what the pen tells, offering a unique and evocative vision of the Dolomite landscape.
