Small treasure chests of art and testimonies of a profound and deeply felt religious past, Frammenti d'arte in Valbelluna returns with a unique opportunity to admire the frescoes and works of local artists including the brothers Marco and Giovanni da Mel, Antonio Rosso, Cesare Vecellio, Andrea Schiavone, and Paris Bordon, high-quality altarpieces, and contemporary artists.
An annual event that allows the public to discover the wonderful hidden treasures that these small churches contain.
The routes to be taken independently from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM can be done in any direction and are each dedicated to a different theme:
- Sunday, May 31 on the occasion of the Narcissus Days, the following will be accessible: Church of San Bartolomeo in Villapiana, Hermitage of San Donato in Ronchena, Church of Santa Giuliana in Canai
- Sunday, June 28: churches and villages in Mel - Church of San Valentino in Corte, Church of San Gottardo and Santa Maria Maddalena in Follo, Church of Sant'Antonio in Bardies
- Sunday, July 12: between past, present, and future in Mel - Church of Santa Lucia in Col and bell tower, former Church of San Giacomo in Zottier with the exhibition "tribute to Toni Piccolotto," Churches of San Teonisto and Sant'Antonio in Farra and the opening of the Milk Museum.
- Sunday, August 30: devotion among the villas of Trichiana - Church of San Tiziano in Frontin, Church of San Marco Evangelista in Carfagnoi, Church of San'andrea in Cavassico Inferiore.
