There is a moment in the year when Cortina rediscovers its roots. It is the Desmonteà, the festival that celebrates the return of livestock from the alpine pastures and transforms the heart of the Queen of the Dolomites into a great stage of traditions, scents, music, and conviviality.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17
At 5:00 p.m. the tent opens in Largo Poste. From 9:00 p.m. the Desmonteà Fest starts with the music of Fleimstaler – The Party Folk Band, followed by the DJ set: tradition meets the energy of the party.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18
At 11:00 a.m. the evocative parade of livestock and agricultural machinery, followed by the blessing in Piazza Angelo Dibona. At 12:00 p.m. the tent in Largo Poste reopens with traditional specialties. From 3:00 p.m., music and entertainment with Guglielmo e le Bronze Scuerte.
Starting from 9:00 a.m., the markets of local, typical, and artisanal products open, featuring specialties of self-production: an opportunity to discover and bring home the flavors and creativity of the territory.
Throughout the day, markets of local products and crafts, itinerant folk groups, and games for both young and old.
Two days to experience Cortina in its most authentic soul, amid cowbells, mountain flavors, music, and joy.
THE DESMONTEÀ HAS RETURNED.
AND CORTINA IS READY TO CELEBRATE.
