Day of the Venetian Villas

During the weekend of October 17 and 18, 2026, hundreds of Venetian Villas tell their stories in a unique way, offering unmatched experiential activities.

Visitors and guests will be able to discover and learn about the Venetian Villas through active participation in thematic experiences, which they can choose depending on their passions or the territory they wish to explore.

All of this over the course of an entire weekend. The Venetian Villas will narrate their history, art, culture, architecture, craftsmanship, and the surrounding nature through guided tours, walks, concerts, workshops, tastings, stays, and many other experiences that will introduce participants to the Venetian Villa of yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

In the province of Belluno, the following can be visited:

Villa di Modolo (October 17-18): Romantic Park, the 60 years of the great sequoia that survived the flood and Vaia (with anecdotes from the owner) and tasting of new oil and Chianti.

Villa de' Mezzan (October 17-18): Summer residence of the counts in Grum (Dolomiti Bellunesi) with historical halls, garden, agricultural village, and the 14th-century church of Santo Stefano.

Villa Buzzati (October 18): 120 years since the birth of the writer, with a welcome in the garden, immersive reading of his stories with professional actors, and a toast.

Villa Villalta (October 18): Contemporary art exhibition featuring Sara Casal. Autumn itinerary between the 16th-century loggia and historical annexes. Ancient crafts, games, craftsmanship (wool, iron, baskets), and Dolomite saffron.
