Concerto per pianoforte

The fifth concert of the Tiziano Summer 2026 will take place on Monday, August 17 at 9:00 p.m. in the E. De Luca Multipurpose Hall in San Vito di Cadore. The evening's protagonist will be pianist Silvia Tessari.

The opening piece will be the famous Carnevale di Vienna op.26 by Schumann, followed by the Impromptu in A flat major op.142 no. 2 by Franz Schubert. From Franz Liszt, the great piano virtuoso who composed countless masterpieces of great virtuosity for the piano, the Ballade no. 2 will be performed. The program will continue with the famous Flight of the Bumblebee by N. Rimsky-Korsakov in the transcription by S. Rachmaninov. Following that will be the "Ritual Fire Dance" by Spanish composer Manuel De Falla, ending with the Ballade no.1 op.23 by F. Chopin. Silvia Tessari, pianist, graduated with top marks from the Conservatory of Padua at only seventeen years of age. She honed her piano performance with various masters (Giorgio Lovato, Petrushansky, Margarius, Risaliti, Lonquich, Slesarev, Pressler...) and obtained a diploma of high perfection from the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome with the score of 10/10. Awarded in numerous competitions in Italy and abroad, she has performed throughout Italy, Spain, Greece, Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, at the Conservatory of Moscow, in Georgia, China, Thailand, and South Korea. In the United States, she debuted in Virginia, Oklahoma, Cleveland, Washington D.C., and New York City (having performed at Carnegie Hall three times, receiving rave reviews).
