Concerto per canto e pianoforte

It will be a concert in the name of bel canto, interspersed with piano pieces, all belonging to the great repertoire of these two fields. Starting with one of the most beautiful arias from the 18th century opera of G. F. Handel, “Lascia ch'io pianga” from Rinaldo, to continue with arias by Mozart from The Marriage of Figaro and Don Giovanni. The Aria di Berta from Rossini's The Barber of Seville will also be performed. The piano pieces will include the Impromptu No. 2 by F. Schubert, the Hungarian Rhapsody No. 6 by F. Liszt, and The Flight of the Bumblebee by Rimsky-Korsakov. The two protagonists have considerable concert experience developed over many years in Italy and abroad, collaborating with important musicians in prestigious venues.
Roberta Majoni, graduated with high honors from the “A. Steffani” Conservatory in Castelfranco Veneto under the guidance of M° Adriano Tomaello, has engaged in concert activities particularly collaborating with the Athestis Chorus in numerous productions with Rai of Turin, the Arturo Toscanini Symphony Orchestra of Parma, the Chamber Orchestra of Padua and Veneto, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, the Munich Philharmonic, under the direction of F.M. Bressan, P. Maag, J. Tate, E. Inbal, C. Abbado, C. Tiieleman, etc. She teaches Singing at the Music High School of Belluno.
Silvia Tessari, a pianist, graduated with full marks from the Conservatory of Padua at only seventeen years old. She obtained the highest level diploma with 10/10 from the Santa Cecilia Academy in Rome. Awarded in numerous competitions. She has performed throughout Italy, Spain, Greece, Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, in Georgia, China, Thailand, and South Korea, etc.
