The church of S. Apollonia was built by “Misier Carlo Livinal” around the year 1625, on the site where in 1614 he had rebuilt an old and abandoned chapel dedicated to the Madonna.
There are numerous works of art present: the two holy water fonts date back to 1637; the side paintings, canvases in wooden frames, located on the main altar, representing S. Francis and S. Charles Borromeo, are the work of Francesco Frigimelica il Vecchio (17th century); the central altarpiece, depicting the Madonna in glory with saints Apollonia and Anthony the Abbot, is of slightly later manufacture.
The wooden Soasa of the altar is also datable to the second decade of the 17th century, it is monochrome with a faux walnut finish and golden decorative parts using late Mannerist gold leaf technique, refined in the carvings and attributable to the work of the Costantini. Notable is also the sail bell tower from 1637.
