The church of San Marcello in Umin is one of the oldest sacred buildings in the Diocese of Belluno-Feltre and with recent restorations, it has regained its ancient splendor, showcasing interesting frescoes that adorn the interior walls created between the thirteenth and sixteenth centuries, allowing for the reconstruction of its history.
The original building dates back to before the thirteenth century and has been expanded in successive phases over the centuries up to the nineteenth century. The church is located in the village of Umin, near Villabruna and a few kilometers from Feltre, in a truly magnificent rural setting protected by the Feltrine Peaks, at the gates of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park.
