Una Galea nell'arcipelago greco

On Thursday, December 18, there will be a presentation of the book by Gherardo degli Azzoni Avogadro Malvasia "A Galea in the Greek Archipelago", at Palazzo Crepadona.

A memoir, a life between Italy and Greece: a story full of twists – a love beyond social rules, the relationship with the adventurer Francesco Morosini – that brings to light, romanticizing, the tale of one of the most singular representatives of the Azzoni family, nobles from Treviso and Belluno. A picture of the Mediterranean in the Seventeenth Century similar in its people and their lives to what we experience now, meticulously reconstructed by the author Gherardo degli Azzoni Avogadro Malvasia.
