With the organization of the Pietra e Scalpellini Association, the duo Molom returns with a live performance of 30 minutes in which stone becomes a material for inscription, both musically and physically tangible.
“Fragments of a matrix ready to explode,” this is the title of the performance, merges the art of sculpture and its gestures with real-time sound processing.
The parallelism between fullness and emptiness highlights how sculpture, the art of subtraction, reveals hidden forms, while sound manifests through the voids created. This dialogue between subtracting and adding creates a tension that invites reflection on the dichotomies absence/presence, silence/noise.
Molom’s performances are experiences that embrace the interconnection between visual arts and sound art, creating a vibrant dialogue between two art forms that are part of the background of the two performers.
